Business Affairs Community Food Drive

Dear Business Affairs colleagues:

With the holidays just a few weeks away, I want to highlight an opportunity to give back to our community. The Business Affairs Community Food Drive begins on Monday, November 7, 2022 and runs through December 9, 2022. This is a monetary focused drive, so we will not be collecting any food. On average, Second Harvest of Silicon Valley now serves 450,000 people every month, an 80 percent increase over pre-pandemic levels that requires distributing double the amount of food at twice the cost. Community support has been vital to Second Harvest’s ability to meet the dramatic increase in need, and they are already seeing a drop in donations compared to this time last year.

Our efforts in Business Affairs to support our local community this holiday season is more critical than ever. Any amount you can contribute is appreciated; every dollar helps provide two meals to families across Silicon Valley. 

Last year Business Affairs raised over $12,000 which provided over 24,000 meals to local families.  Please join us in ensuring that all people in our community have access to nutritious food and can celebrate the holidays by sharing a special meal with their families!
